The Wizard's Vale

~ An Unofficial Christopher Lee Fan Site ~

"...low and melodious, its very sound an enchantment. [...] For many the sound of the voice alone was enough to hold them enthralled; but for those whom it conquered the spell endured when they were far away, and ever they heard that soft voice whispering and urging them. But none were unmoved; none rejected its pleas and its commands without an effort of mind and will, so long as its master had control of it."
(J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers Chapter 10: The Voice of Saruman)

Welcome to The Wizard's Vale!

There are plenty of other web sites out there that give detailed information on Christopher Lee's movies, but when I looked for more information on his audio work, I couldn't find any - although he has recorded many songs and audio books. So I started from scratch, searching for Christopher Lee's audio recordings, and over the years I have been able to find many, although not all. However, I have accumulated a lot of information.

So, in the tradition of the Pohle & Hart filmography, I would like to gather all this information here for others to share, in a Christopher Lee Audio Archive. This will probably always be a work in progress, as I constantly find more things to add. Right now I'm still busy adding things that I already have here; since I can do this only in my spare time, it takes time.

However, it will continually be updated until I run out of information to add. And yes, I'll do something about the graphics when I'm done with the content. But content comes first ;). I'll post major updates in the 'news and updates' section of this page. I hope you enjoy the archive and find it useful!
